Why? I'm not saying anyone deserves to get killed but you can't tell me that people's actions have no effect on what happens to them. |

I agree with you 100% in that statement^^. I am just saying that some people (not *just* jerz) act like everything is black and white, when in fact MOST things in life have an in between. There are a lot of people that are the victims of violence who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, or as a result of getting in the way of the intended crime, accidents, knowing/being around the wrong people, trying to survive for whatever reason (which is why a lot of crime occurs in the first place).....etc etc (whatever the case may be).
what IF this fight WAS the result of two women's fight and this dude just happened to get caught up in something he had nothing to do with? Not to mention, if you are gonna bring up drugs, there are 500000000 people on this board and in the edm community that use/sell drugs. But if some NYU kid selling/using ecstacy in PACHA was killed, it would be a MUCH bigger headline than the kid selling crack trying to put food on his table in the south bronx, because no one gives a about THAT guy.....when in fact I personally believe that selling drugs to survive/eat/provide shelter/etc.... is slightly more reasonable than selling drugs when you already have tons of money in the bank and you just wanna have "fun" with it.
^^the point of my quickly written response (sorry if its frazzled and all over the place: i'm late for work) is that there are 500000 reasons why people might get caught up in violence and who the hell are we to assume what sort of reasons it occured. |

It may very well have been a result of some random fight and I truly do feel bad that this guy got killed either way...but chances are it wasn't. I live in Philly and trust me there have been plenty of murders here but for the most part you have to really put yourself in the wrong situation to have anything happen to you. I'm not going to comment on the "why" part of drug dealing because that doesn't really have anything to do with my argument.

Who are we? We are just people at work who don't feel like doing our jobs for a few minutes and enjoy making social commentary and having some friendly banter. |

| Just thugs being thugs. Obviously, this guy must have done something to get stabbed. I dont believe "he just got caught in the middle of it" No matter how much money these guys have they the ghetto will never come out of them. |

ing tell me about it..From the age of 15 to 32 I was stabbed 5 times on 3 separate occasions and I got ran over by a car... |

| Duvet has gotten so ghetto nowadays, used to be okay when EastSide productions were throwing parties there, but nowadays it resembles a Little Weezy and Young Cheezy video... not surprising this happens all the time in the city. No wonder there is always a constant crackdown here in the city. |

instead of thinking you know the answer because you of some gut feeling, try reading about it. just because you feel something or because there are outlying situations doesn't mean that is the norm.
