I mean, if he keeps being such a jackass...

Good joke? :conf:

I refused to DJ with Tiesto once. True story.

Don't tell him to give it up, let him dig his own grave with lie after lie after lie to cover lie after lie. He'll realize what an ass he made himself out to be.

In general, he is not a compulsive liar and a good person. But as someone stated before, I think he has actually convinced himself that this imaginary event somehow occurred. We don't look at him different because of his story. He doesn't brag about this "event" with people, but we bring it up just to poke some fun at him.

@Nefardec:
I can't remember it off the top of my head, but I'll be sure to ask him later tonight what the location and venue was.

was this in rome? what venue?

Ok, just got off the phone with him. I could have sworn he told me that it was in a club in Italy. Anyway, he said he dj'ed with Tiesto at an outdoor event at the dance plaza in Amsterdam.

Maybe he did it twice? :eyes: Once in Amsterdam and once in Italy :thepirate

Yeah, you're right. I forgot to ask him where he "dj'ed" his "other gigs".

Or maybe it was just the shrooms he took over at amsterdam that made him create this fantasy land of dj'ing with tiesto :wtf:

Anyway, I'll call him again and ask him about it. When I asked him earlier what the location and venue was where he dj'ed with tiesto, he paused for a second and said, "Am I on speakerphone?" because he thought we were harassing him again :o Anyway, off to the gym... I've done way too much posting on TA today

I gave up after friends, but thanks for the effort.

I ROFL'D, no lie.. good story, the kid is a jerk face.

edit: a good idea would be to ask him technical questions like "what mixer were you guys using?" "how many decks? what brand?" "How were the monitors, I bet they were trouble, huh?" "Did you guys use vinyl at all? Who's records did you use??" and just enjoy as he breaks down...

Back in 1990, me and DJ Tiesto both helped in tearing down the Berlin Wall. I still have a few bricks that he signed for me, although I can't really take pictures of them since I have enclosed them in an air-proof box to prevent erosive damage.

goodgreef
lol my ex swore that he chatted with tiesto by some file "promoting" forum way back in the day before tiesto was god.. and apparently my ex had a copy of some song that tiesto sent him to get an "opinion on" before it even came out.
right.

stories are fun sometimes.
