To all who remember this classic 90's band, I took one of their lesser known songs that has remix potential and went with the uplifting feeling of their music to make a jumpy, feelgood kind of remix. 128 beats a minute so its friendly to most genres.
I'm in the process of polishing off the track in terms of composition, however any feedback regarding musical techniques is GREATLY appreciated! Please no mastering or sound quality advice as I'm currently working with only the right channel operational on my studio moniters, left will be operational soon! Thanks and don't forget to jump to this one!

man, I <3 the cranberries, been listening to them since i was young, and this is one of my favorite songs from no need to argue
k lets see
love the percs at the beginning but the 2/4 clap got a little boring, would've preferred it a bit more mixed up
after the first breakdown i think it could use some more percs or something? it just feels like the beat slows down, lost all the energy for me.
yeah i think you need to beef up the percs a bunch, but i also have a tendency to like busier songs
awesome idea though as i love the original, looking forward to hearing the finished product |

thx for listening.
lets see, i could bring back the percs from the intro after the first breakdown and cut them as soon as the vocals hit. as far as the clap i could cut it on 4th count and add some fills with the kick. also i could bring the open high hat in on 4th count as well (right now its just at the 2nd count) during choruses etc... thanks for the pointers and let me know if you have any more! |
