| GTA rocks but I dont like the character they've chosen to play the lead. It could have been someone right from urban America but this isnt that invigorating. |

But they've already done an urban America sorta guy. At least this character is somebody completely new that can introduce new story elements not yet seen in the other GTA's. |

Yea but playing a from a foriengers perspective isnt that appealing to me, they've tried this in Vice City and LCS etc. Why not try something else? Playing an Asian or someone else I mean. |

Asians arent foreigners in the US? or you only want to see asians in the role?
GTAIII and VC did not feature people of foreign descent afaik, just italian backgrounds| |

I'm really looking forward to this new character, because I was hoping they would use somebody of East European decent.
I am not European, but I think there is a huge underground mob world left to explore. |

Agreed.
Personally I think Rockstar is doing a great thing exploring ethnic diversity.
GTA III: white guy (caucasian/American, if you prefer.)
GTA Vice City: Italian-American
GTA San Andreas: African-American
GTA Liberty City Stories: Italian-American
GTA: Vice City Stories: Hispanic-American
And now GTA IV: Russian/Eastern European. |
