a facebook page is a little different then a well known (and now multinational corporation) using someone likeness to sell a product with out their permission.

I don't think it's weird that Royalty likes music...obviously. But I think some of you are missing the point here. What is the point of the guy having a chart on Beatport? Who the cares what type of he listens to....why is it even there? Charts from artist's and D.J's is understandble....but Prince Harry? or any public figure for that matter? Clever marketing Beatport!
Why not a chart from Donald Duck? Perhaps Paris Hilton? Condoleza Rice? |
Just what i was about to post.
who is Prince Harry to have a chart? he has nothing to do with music... in fact, he has nothing to do with anything, period. The British Royalty don't do squat, yet get whatever they want.
Ridiculous. |

LOL, this has nothing to with the reach of music. It's a sad attempt, or should I say strategy in regards to marketing. It's funny that you use the term ignorant here.... |

Welp, only a fool would buy into Prince Harry. Probably the same uninspired twits that buy up the top ten every week. So it's not THAT sad, really. |

The top 10 is the top 10 because of sales. Beatport does not designate the 10 "best" songs. There is no attempt at marketing at there. Any sort of media outlet ALWAYS ranks their best selling....from books, to movies, cd's...you name it. It's like an industry standard. Getting the Prince of England however to put together a chart for you is a whole different ballpark. THEY created that. WE create the top 10 charts.
I just fail to understand why you are belligerently arguing about the reach of music here? I don't see the relevance. |
