Yeah he seems like a great guy. I've also asked him a question once and I got an answer the next day. He's also funny, which makes it a lot more fun to watch his videos. And he also talks and shows the stuff in a way that even a newbie should be able to understand it somehow, which is important for his videos.

Gotta give credit to him for sharing his information with everyone.

Not that they aren't valid, they just seem a little irrelevant and tedious.

You sound like a jerk. Who cares if he's "too nice." He's helping people. Are you?

Who gives a if you think that? Probably a few people just like the latter. BTW at those who are like " you he helps people" well I'm pretty sure teaching people wrong information doesn't help them. Theres some good stuff thats nice for helping people on there... I never contested that.

Yes I said I don't like his personality. So what?

but seriously how many 10 minute mixes do you see in the DJ promotion forum? None... and for good reason.

It's odd that you care so much.

Which is a shame because he said some very nice things about you... ;)

Just kidding.

Seriously though, I haven't actually seen him that much, but what I have seen there are times that I think... errrrmmm yes and no. He doesn't always hit it bang on.

But what we also have to remember is that people DJ in so many different ways and if it works for him (Whatever it is) then it may not be wrong but just different. Don't have a concrete example.

The bars and phrase thing is one of my pet hates also... Strange how such a silly thing can cause so much grief.

That said, if the theory behind it is sound then the name shouldn't matter too much as the technique is more important that what you call it.

I think the main thing is that you have a great resource.

I can't believe that some of you think he might be gay because he has his right ear pierced... what centuary are you in? And even if he was quadrisexual, what does it really matter? You wont become gay by watching his vids I promise. ;)

I think he is the man and I wish there was something like this back when I started. Although I still think there is masses of value in self discovery too.

Not worth fighting over either way.

Cheers

And I never said that is what you said. :)

I just found the association of earing in right ear with being gay very strange and possibly even something that I would have more coupled together with attitudes of the 1970s. Not meaning that in a scournful way, just stating I remember a time when that was the general perception and that for me was the late 70s, since then (In Europe) at least, people have piercings all over the place and I can't (and don't bother to) work out peoples orientation.

But my comment wasn't meant to be accusing you of anything, was just interested in the fact that you made it at all. :)

To all,
Just remember that a large proportion of people you will find in clubs are in fact gay and are some of the wildest party goers and are a core group that you need to befriend if you want to get on in the DJ world. Quite often you will find that some of the best nights around are promoted by gay people.

I don't think DJTutor is gay, but figured that the comment needed a deeper answer.

But as always I find myself hijacking threads... :D

Cheers
