Recently, some discussion about the track fired up over at tiestotracklists.net as the artist of the track has been identified.
The track for so long was listed as 02. ID or even 02. Tiesto - ID as part of his 2003 Innercity set.
Here is a link to the file from the set:

The artist is Ronald van Gelderen
Here is the post from the thread at www.tiestotracklists.net
20-12-03 ID # 02 Innericty
Ronald van Gelderen - Untitled
Story:
This track was never even given a title. It was provided to Tiesto in the days before Innercity and Ronald didn't even check back for any feedback if it was ever actually played or not. Presumably he dropped the demo and didn't bother going back to it, moving onto his electro-vocal-trance weird in '04
Red Herring
The community and regulars here who were around in 2004 were all assuming that this was the "new Tiesto" track as Tijs had announced in an interview before hitting the stage that he would drop a new track. The broadcast only showed that he played Traffic & Nyana, so it was assumed ID 02 was his "new track" as those had already been played throughout 2003. Now it appears he was only mentioning Nyana/Traffic at this point... probably as a brief hint to an album coming in spring '04... it was only a ID&T/TMF interview ffs... so he didnt have to be specific haha
The Find
Fast forward 3 years and Ronald contacts one of our forummers, remembering that we were asking him about the track a little over a year ago (i was myspacing him following a hunch)... and bingo... confirmation that it is his work, but that it never saw a release or even received a title from its creator.
The various times we asked this question to Tiesto to remember/find out the name of the track, no wonder he couldn't.. as it was just a CDR without even a name.
We are now asking Ronald to release the track, he never even realized it had such a cult following all these years... Laughing I'll keep the clip up a few more days... I'm guessing not everyone reading this even heard this track yet! Shocked

Since this is one of my favorite tracks, definitely my favorite track still needing an ID, and considering how many people were in love with it when they heard it, I figured it might be appropriate to post this info here, especially since the track received such high praise. |

| Interesting. Not a bad track. Definitely has an '03-ish sound to it. |

NICE TUNE!!!
I've never heard it before... still another example of why Tiesto was the best. He'd pulled out the tunes NO ONE had! :toocool: |

| I love reading up on finds like this, so interesting and really helps to ground me in the music. The tune is top notch, even though its from 2003, I can easily see this fitting into many set/shows nowadays. Here's hoping it sees the light of day! |

meaning it's far-fetched, or you're shocked that it can create such a story? |

Great tune!
Most of Ronald van Gelderen's material dosnt quite do it for me. They just seem to lack something.
But this is rather good. |
