I'm excited about a bunch of the new features with this update, specifically the new audio engine. Hopefully rendering tracks in Ableton will no longer mean rendering . it will also be nice to have sidechaining built into the native application.
Waiting to hear about potential compatibility issues before I take the plunge. |

| Reason 4 is out too, they completely redid their sequencer, so it finally looks like it's not a pile of . The sequencer actually looks a LOT like ableton's. This is really good news for me as I use Reason... now only they would fix their rendering so it doesn't sound like everything was made in a tin can. |

it does sound rather tinny,
side chaining is a sick new feature for ableton. |
