nice, do you live within the pilot plan? I spent some time in Brasilia last summer, it was really cool. Kind of hard to live there without a car, however. Do you go to school at the city university? (the main prefab concrete building? I had a couple of reviews there in the architecture department... ) |

No, I live in the South Lake (Lago Sul). It's still near the Pilot Plan but, as you said, you can't live here without a car :p
I remember I once met an irate Italian tourist back when I was in high school, and he was complaining about the lack of buses in the city... it's sad but I had to agree with him :( |

Those vans are evil!!! Most of my "exciting" moments in public transportation happened thanks to their wacky manoeuvres. Lately, the police have tried to sort it out though, for obvious reasons...
My girlfriend, for instance, was knocked down by one of these vans (the bastard didn't stop at a red light). It's actually a miracle that she had nothing but a few scratches...
And there is a subway system... it just happens to be useless :D |

| I lived 20 yrs in Montreal, and I can't imagine living there again. It's a great place to vacation or go to school, but living there permanently is a different story. |

| The city had changed a lot since then. TO some for the worse and to some for the better. I agree, though. I did my 17 years time, but I'd still go back in a heart beat to visit. |
