I have a colleague at the office whose daughter dedicated her grade 12 law class assignment to a friend in her class who is a victim of domestic violence and abuse.
It's not Oscar-worthy or anything, just a Powerpoint presentation, pretty much, but I ask for your help on the following:
1. Watch it.
2. Provide a comment on it (if you can...not sure if you have to be registered on YouTube).
3. Spread it amongst your friends.
Sorry, normally I never get involved with chain messages, but I personally know the primary source on this and would like to help show her friend the international support available to her in the world!
Plus my colleague is hot. LOL j/k :p

To clarify, the subject of the presentation is a famous Canadian case on domestic violence: R. v. Hadley. The point of the project was to raise awareness about an important issue. If anyone is interested in further details, feel free to ask questions via PM (I'm sure you can appreciate the privacy required in matters such as this).

umm..rather than youtube comments, maybe you should tell her to call the police. She needs to get out of that situation. There is lots of real world help out there for victims. People online can't do much good for her.

I find that adding phrases onto the end of "Spread it among your friends" such as ... "if you forward this to 5 friends, you will get a kiss at the end of the week, if you forward this to 10 friends, you will DEFINATELY get you dick sucked at the end of the week, if you forward this to 20 friends, you will get laid at the end of the week, if you do not forward this onto any friends your will rot off and you will die of aids" ... helps persuade me to forward it on to my friends

And thank you very much for your concern, Cap, the situation is already somewhat under control, without getting into too many details. The proper authorities were notified long ago. :) This is just a little "after the fact" emotional support. There is also professional support involved, don't worry. ;)
