just lost a gig of trance

i imaged windows 2000 from one drive to another cos i was trying to figure out why my burner/dvd roms would not burn/read...tried everything but then ended up reimaging windows 2000.....anyways...forgot to remove a gig of trance from C drive....
trance gone buh bye.... :(
and it's my fault and i'm not asking for you guys to feel sorry for me....just needed to share....:clown:
it was all new stuff too.....dammit:sadgreen:

heh this seems like an epidemic or sumthing...i upload every single track i download to my myplay locker if i like it...not only in case of HD crashes but also cos of my bro who goes crazy sumtimes and just deletes ...
i dont know what i would do if myplay sent me an email saying "oops!..."...prolly kill myself:whip:

It just happened to me 2 hours back. All 3000 trancers all gone down to waste. Viral possibilty and just before the Major Crash...all I hear was "tick tick"....like a ing time bomb...and bam wham...all my files were sucked into a blackhole...all 45 Gigs....
I am back now on my backup with only 13 gigs....I feel for you man...but what the hell...it's about time!

I would cry if I lost a GB of vinyl singles. (See TA thread about last time you cried ;) )
I'd still feel awful about losting a GB of music but I download so much, I receive about 1-2 gb of music a day.
I actually made a little program that schedules tape backups of new material, renames files, and adds an entry in my database of all the music I have. :D Yes, I'm very happy with my music. My goal is to collect TB of music. :D :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: |

for those who deleted by accident (not those who got a hd crash):
why dont you guys/girls just download a restore program?
like Juricimo, you said you forgot to move before you deleted, then just use a restore program, and get it all back..
the files are still on your hd until you save files on the same location at the disk (same sector and stuff)
give it a try:)
it worked very fine here when i managed to delete 5 gb with mp3's by a mistake ;)
got them all back
