Alright probably a stupid question im not sure but here it goes.
Ive been reading about tweaking the ADSR of drum samples to change its sound. My question is can I do this with drum samples I find or do I have to specifically make the noise myself with a virtual or hardware drum machine and then change the ADSR? I wonder this because if the drum sample is already made I dont see how I could change the ADSR unless my sample editor can analyze a sample and display the ADSR settings it was made with. In ableton I have either the sampler or Simpler to work with and both have the ADSR option. I was also wondering if there are any good VST plugins for Drum Layering? |
