TA 2007 TOTY: 2nd Half Nomination Thread OPEN
Welcome to the end of the year fellow TAs! The time has come again for us to nominate our favorite tunes of the past 6 months. Back in the summer we nominated our personal top 10 tunes for the 1st half of 2007 and, with the help of a point-weighted system, the 20 tunes that will represent the first half of 2007 in the final polling are as follows:

Now, it's time to nominate your top tunes of 2007's latter half!
Nominating Instructions
Everyone is instructed to nominate their top 10 tracks from the second half of this year. Make sure these tracks were released within this time period (July through December). Feel free to nominate any tracks that were released in June that you feel didnt receive full notoriety until the second half. Obviously, do not nominate any of the tracks already representing the first half. Not sure when a track was released? Look it up at www.discogs.com.
Please include the remix name of the track if it has one.
Please, clearly define your order of preference as nominations will be assigned weighted points. Please follow this example:
1 Artist Song
2 Artist Song
3 Artist Song
4 Artist - Song
5 Artist Song
6 Artist Song
7 Artist Song
8 Artist - Song
9 Artist - Song
10 Artist - Song
If you fail to clearly indicate your order of preference then it will be assumed that the first track is your first choice, the second track your second choice, and so forth.
The point system goes as follows:
1st selection = 10 points, 2nd = 9, 3rd = 8, 4th = 7, 5th = 6, 6th = 5, 7th = 4, 8th = 3, 9th = 2, and 10th = 1.
The 20 tracks with the most nomination points will represent the 2nd half of 2007. They will be joined by the top 20 1st half nominations in the Final Polls.
Please nominate only once and if you wish to make changes you are free to do so up until this thread is closed by an administrator. This thread will be open for three (3) complete weeks: opens 1 December and will be closed 22 December. And please refrain from posting anything here besides your nominations. Happy voting! |
