Those are just all the songs I had the patience to cut up but if I did all of the songs on my computer it prob take me like a week to do. The sound quality is AWFUL because none of the songs were mastered and trying to balance the volumes destroyed essential sound quality.
But my point:
I took the day to browse through all the songs I started and never finished and realized I have to have some kind of form of OCD. The best thing I can probably do is make melodies but after 2 1/2 years of producing I'm realizing I have like a hundred songs on my computer that are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING being there. I've wasted TONS of hours on my keyboard making melodies but I have NO IDEA how to master a song.
THe problem is when I started producing I had NO IDEA how to make one melody never mind 3 different melodies playing at once. So I spent A LOT of time teaching myself how to do just that one thing and I overcompensated leaving my basic production skills for certain areas (like mastering) at newbie status still. If you here some of the songs you can tell my sound quality skills suck.
So all I ask is one thing. I need a partner who KNOWS A LOT about sound quality & mastering to collab with me on a mix. I never collabed before and I have no idea what kind of skills people have out there but if I can SEE with my eyes a rough sketch of how its done I think I can step my production skills up a lot. I use FL Studio 7 usually with a combination of some of the following vsts: z3ta, pro-53, fm-7, minimoog, vanguard, sytrus, toxic III, and just recently with v-station.
