picked this up a couple of nights ago. not as much into it on my headphones or in the car.
interested how it would sound on a club system... as with a lot of dubfire stuff i find sasha's catalogue to be completely enjoyable when played on a proper platform. thinking this might be the case for this tune. |

I have to say there is a lot about the sample that I like, but I have to hear the whole thing before I render an opinion on the tune because it does sound like there's some potential for it to go nowhere, and one thing I'm really hating about the Emfire releases so far is the use of "noise" or just really distorted sounds, that come out muddy and really kind of make the tunes feel flat.
That being said, this is the tune I'm holding out most hope for thus far on Emfire, so we'll see what happens. |

And what the hell is "Arthill"?
That one sounds like it could be a bit of fun as well. |

| I think this is at a tie with Coma for me. |

Looks like it's a track he made for "New Emissions of Light and Sound". Surfing movie of some kind? Sounds like it has bits of Arkham Asylum in it :p |

A lot of his newer tracks appear to be for that movie. Coma was for that same movie (note the video for Coma on his myspace).
I totally don't picture a guy surfing when I listen to Coma :wtf: |

Just heard it tonight. Melancholic, beautiful. I think all this emFire stuff is great, although some of it feels on the borderline of being slightly pretentious, I still can't get away from it's sound.
I really got a shock when I heard the tweaked synths on Mongoose, this one settles a lot easier on my head, and has a completely different attack. It definitely has staying power in my opinion! Loving it...
Had to register just to get that rant out of the way... :D |

This is the most horribly mediocre track I've heard in years. It's got absolutely nothing interesting going on. Sounds like they "wrote" the track as they went along, if you can even call it that. It's more like pressing random keys and calling it a day. |
Resident Advisor makes more damage than what I thought. |

| Definitely my favorite Emfire release so far. Anyone have any idea what else is coming up? |

Does anyone have/has anyone heard the final copy of the track on its own?
