Who would you like to hear at the Zone?

Although the residents in the Zone usually play way better than the headliners, and although I don't expect any of these DJs to actually play there, I thought a thread like this would be fun. Treat it like a fantasy league.

Locodice
Raresh
Ricardo Villalobos v. Luciano (I don't think either of them would be good down there by themselves, because Luciano would play too much Deep House, and Ricardo would just get too wierd. However, these guys back to back are an amazing tech house duo)
DJ Vibe
Carlos Fauvrelle
Lee Burridge (yea, yea I know. However I think The Zone would be more accepting to his type of music this time around)
Carl Cox (haha yea right)
Steve Lawler
Richie Hawtin
EvilTree
dusty kid!
digweed

This guy is an amazing producer, but I've never heard any of his sets. Do you have any?

I'm a huge Digweed fan (especially right now), but I don't think he's "banging" enough to play at The Zone tbh.

Before I can elaborate I need you to define "banging" for me. Banging in the sense of a very active kick beat coupled with active percussive sounds? Or banging in the sense of big fat melt your face off basslines?

Random, I know, but I think Snoop Dogg would tear the roof off that place.

Hmm, hard for me to define, but I would say banging has to do with higher BPMs and a very active kick beat. Higher percussive sounds can add to it, but are not a necessity.

Well than, this is where our opinion would differ. I think the Zone system and the acoustics of the room have a unique ability to take certain songs that posses a heavy, rolling, slightly grungy and distorted bass line and give them a life of their own. This is where the "music sounds different in the zone" argument would fit. One song that always stands out to me that would fit what i'm saying perfectly is the Trentemoller remix of What Else is There. I think the type of that Digweed plays on regular club nights would suit this much better than most of the D.J's that you mentioned. As well, we're not even factoring in Digweed's "The Man!" factor here. Tink about it.....I try to but have to stop myself because I get scared to think of the that he would break out in a room like that.
