Yeah Australian ads on speeding and drink driving have always been pretty nasty.
Anyone remember the ad of the guy walking across the road with a pizza and the car comes out of nowhere and wipes him out? Always send shivers down my spine.

Yeah that's what makes it so effective I reckon, usually the accident's happen really quickly in the ads.
Also narcism I never saw any of those two ads on television but that 2nd one is messed up - I wouldn't be surprised to see that on TV soon as well.
It's good the police are cracking down on drink driving, the other weekend I got breath-tested three times within 24 hours. One at 7 pm, one at midnight, and another at 11 am. Have no tolerance for drink drivers, then again who does...
