I was cleaning out my closet last night, and I found this mix tape. It's an old mixtape from 1991-1992 and I recorded it so you all can hear it. It doesn't say who mixed it, all it says is: Extacy - Techno Is Still Alive... For Underground Used Only. However, I do know this was mixed by an old school LA DJ.
This mix is an excellent representation of what "RAVE" Music was back then in the LA/Orange County area. This is exactly what got me into this scene. Awww... The memories. I could write a whole book on this scene, but I won't. hehe
As an added bonus, I added one of my hard to get treasures in there that I recorded straight from my old school vinyl collection SHADES OF BLACK - RETURN OF A SIMPLE SONG. This song is really hard to get and it's one of that era's most sought after gems. It's the original rave version of TETRIS. I hope I don't regret posting this song online, but I will take it off in 2 days.

| this being back from 1991-1992 would make me 10-11 years old then.. but i still know these are some all time classics, so track IDs should be fairly easy, but gotta get back to work. |
