There is a distinct possibility that I could be moving there in the short future with a new job. Plus? Minuses? I've heard that the city was not to nice of a place but that it is turning around. Many thanks! i live in mcallen part time.... brownsville is either one of those places you love or hate. personally, i hate it. if i am going to live anywhere in the valley it will always and only be mcallen. at least in mcallen there are good places to eat and go out and shop, etc. plus, its a lot cleaner of a city. brownsville just doesn't seem that way to me.
