I went to Wax for the first time this last Friday. Honestly I found it to be very nice little venue. It was much nicer then I was anticipating. The staff seemed pretty nice, the sound system was actually pretty banging.
They really need a sign for that place though. I went with someone who knew were it was but if I didn’t it would have been a bitch to find. I won’t be able to make it out this Friday since Chelsea is coming to visit me and wouldn’t be able to get in. Hopefully I will be able to make it out the next time you throw a party though. |

Doin' everything possible to convince them to get a sign & website but so far to no avail. Otherwise pretty nice place in terms of atmosphere, sound quality, location & drink specials. Some new people are doing some of the other nights there so hopefully that'll help boost things in addition to what we're doing every other Fri, but yeah, definitely the goal is to have another venue for EDM going and provide opportunities for more DJs to spin, so if anyone wants to join the promotion team and spin with us, lemme know.

I'm confused? What kind of business refuses to at least put a sign outside declaring where they are? Is this a business or a front for the mob?
Who the hell owns wax, north avenue beach? Did they spend too much time in the sun or something? It's not like they got a big boat out there declaring some 's going down, GET A FRICKEN SIGN! |

Unfortunately its a complicated issue that we're all trying to resolve right now and should be taken care of in the next month or two. Chock it up to legal mumbo-jumbo for now, but its coming. For the moment just look for our poster on the A-Frame out front ;) |

Friday! In lieu of a sign, I'm going to be outside with my wrestling figure collection arranged to spell out "WAX", it's actually better than a sign because there's enough of them that you will see it from space.
