Houston New Years plans?

hey everyone; does anybody know of events planned for new years? i just got an invite for a 100$ party at the omni with open bar for 5 hours and a live 80s band...but i don't want to spend the money if i know of something good planned in the electronic events category.
also, if i don't get the ticket before the 5th, i've gotta pay 125...so you see my dilemma...what to do...what to do... |

If you can make it Austin they are having Thrillseekers and that is worth the trip. |

| Rabbit in the Moon was a great show last year, and their music still kicks ass, but unless they've changed the production a bit I probably wouldn't pay to see them twice. |
