Trance on the Space terrace.... (pg. 2)

| the most likely scenario i can think of would be tiesto on the terrace playing ISOSish proggy trance. |

| I would probably say during WMC will be the time to look for trance in the terrace. |

| They should really do a trance night during WMC. Its probably too big of a risk, but we can dream. The problem is, I don't know who I'd have play at it! |

I thought you didn't like trance :stongue:
Either way the PVD/Edgar night was classic, and that sound went off beautifully on the terrace. SVD or PVD could pull it off. And when Tiesto used to come (outside of WMC) they would play the same thing in the entire club, including the terrace |

I don't like the current state of trance nor the big trance names, but I do like the genre.
Besides the terrace, will we even see trance in the main room of Space anymore? |

if and when there is a trance event at club space... all you people on here will bitch about how:
- the dj didnt impress you,
- the dj didnt bang it hard enough,
- the dj was a huge let down,
and you all...
- will cry like little bitches and spend the evening in your car,
- will complain about overpriced drinks,
- will bitch about the club being too packed with kids,
- will bitch about having to wait in line for an hour,
- will piss and moan about people throwing $20 bills at the doormen letting people in before you,
- will , moan, and groan about a bouncer taking away your ing glowsticks, flashlights, or lazer pointers,
- will grunt at the fact that the dj trainwrecked one or two times,
- will be in a ty mood because the dj played too much cheese,
- will vomit at the fact that the ticket was $30,
- will be pissed that the dj played the same songs that he played in another city 10 days before the event,
- will bitch about having to pay $2 for ice water,
- will piss and moan that you couldnt find any beans,
- will be bitter about a boncer kicking you out of the club because you were busted with drugs... Therefore LP and Space ing sucks and you will never go back to that hole ever again,
and will complain more about how....
- the dj wasnt as good as he was on a specific date 8 years ago,
- the opening dj sucked, therefore it ruined your night,
- the dj booth is way too ing high
- u said hello to the dj but he didnt say hi back, so therefore u think that the dj is a cocksucking ****** and u no longer have respect for him
- The LED lights were pointing in the wrong direction,
- The ing videos on the screens are lame because the visuals didnt go well with the music,
- The dj played a cheesy ing commercial song that u was obsessed with 5 years ago, but somehow got too cool to like it now
and will be pissed off at the world because...
- you could ID 70% of the dj's set
- the snatch that you have been chasing around in the clubs for the past 4 years was up in the vip giving Scott Storch a handjob.
The list will go on and on... You Trance people are a WHOLE DIFFERENT BREED.

it's not hateful... it's the truth. I love trance as much as anybody on these boards, but hearing people bitch about the dumbest is drawing me away from the music and the crowd. The last trance event I went to everybody in the club seemed pissed off at the world.. nobody was having fun.. the music "sucked" (according to people there) - The vibe was just awful.
People wonder why house music dominates the Miami scene.. People need to look in the mirror sometimes. It just seems to me that for some reason the Trance Crowd is way to sensative about sometimes.
We all understand that it is all about the music. If we didnt then we wouldnt be listening to EDM at all.
It almost reminds me of this:
Trance Crowd = Poetic/Organic Only/PETA crowd
House Crowd = Work Hard, Play Hard.. Who gives a it's a great party crowd |

I've been saying this for years.
People who only like trance are the one's who don't go to parties to have fun.They go to be a critic.It's like they are going to an opera or something.
I like every form of EDM.I like it all.It all has been good at one time or another.
It's just that the days of the epic trance set are pretty much over.In 3-4 years there will be no trance.It will be once trance dj's spinning a mashup style of trance/prog/and house.
It's already started to happen.
In part because if you spin house it opens you up to older audiences other than just high school and college kids.Which is a trance party these days.
Ferry,and Lawrence still rock though.
