Why TranceAddict doesn't like Download Accelerator programs (pg. 2)

i've never used any Download Accelerator proggy, and dont intend to...just cos of the above problem. BEER FOR ALL!!!

and at the end of the day thats what really matters...
i do have another question though i use flashget for everything else... simply cause i can drag and drop the link and also cause it downloads faster :) BUT if i used flashget in the traceaddict singles and maybe set the split thingo to 1 so it only opens 1 connection would that be allowed? simply so i could have my nice little big que downloading at night etc.....? i havent had the balls to try it yet. |

i use go!zilla.. it doesnt so much accellerate, it just allows me to resume the file when my poor old 56k connection dies (as it does every 2 hours as i dont pay a penny for it)
as far as i know go!zilla is pretty much the only download manager (other than windows default) thats allowed... is that still the same swamper? |

no, Swamper prefers Reget....cuz the newer version of GoZilla does support DL acceleration.....
I removed the newer version i had cuz of all the spyware that came with it...
I decided to kept the older version just incase i needed it... |

Feel the difference...:p
(BTW, it's mostly users with fast connections that use Dl accelerators... A 56K connection wouldn't last with more than a couple simultanious DLs....)
