And yeah, imported beer is expensive here. Most alcohol is, as we have high taxes on it :( |
don't mean to sounds high n mighty (for once), but didn't I post that website at the start of the year?
Maybe I didn't, can't remember now.
They were good cos they were the only place in Australia I could get Cobra, and now they don't have it either:(
Dan Murphy's (my local one at least) has a pretty good import section nowadays, think they improved it over the last year cos it didn't use to be as big as it is now. 1st Choice as well, generally between those 2 I can get everything I want (except Cobra).
beerstore will pwn you for shipping, I get 99% of my stuff from Dan Murphy's, costs about the same without the shipping. And yes they have Duvel too (and the three Chimay's) |

Hah, Foster's is pretty much the tiest beer ever, along with Victoria Bitter.
Such a larf that people overseas drink it and think we like it too.
From what I've heard it's the same deal with Mexico and Coronas, but everyone knows they are a watery girl's beer anyway. :p |

they redesigned the entire inside of the local kroger here. they mainly just moved stuff around & replaced the floors & shelves, but they also went from a walk-in fridge of beer & two half-rows of wine to an entire wall of beer & three aisles of wine on wooden racks/displays. It seems a bit over-the-top, but w/e. I'm not one to complain about such things. |
