What happens at the end of "Outrospective"? |
"thank you for coming to the wetbar, the wetbar is now closed, if you would like an autograph please come up to the stage, back up back up, i said back the up, thank you for coming to the wetbar, get out, anyone speak spanish, no mas, no mas, get out, get the out, do not bum rush the stage, get the out, the wetbar thanks you."
^^ for about 4 minutes!!!
its basically just a recording of the security guard or some yelling at people to get out cuz the club is now closed. it was recorded at the wetbar in atlanta last summer. sander broadcast 30 mins of that set on one of his identity mixes last year, which is why i guess that part was recorded. no one stopped the recording. but why on gods green earth they decided to put that bull on the album is beyond my understanding. |

Ha!
That is what clubs are about, of course: the money. As a general rule they care about music only to the extent that it lets them sell more alcohol. |

well obviously. but the fact its on his debut artist album is ludicrous! if it would of been something like "give it up for sander van dooooooooooorn" and then you hear a chant "sander sander sander" that slowly fades out and then the album ends that woulda been okay. but its not. its total bull. |

Kudos to SvD for defying the expectations of his fans. Any artist who's worth anything should do that sometime. |

But he didn't defy his fans expectations musically he just put some crap at the end of the track. Had he put a country track at the end now that would have been defying epectations of his fan. |

So , he recorded a monologue at the end? This sounds like the more experimental stuff that post-rock bands are doing lol.
(No Sander is not experimental by any means) |

May I be the first in this thread to say Wetbar owns.
I've been there many a time. |

| I hoped to see something better from Mr Doorn, however I must say that his album is simply great. Tunes which I really like are : "Dozer", "Apple", "15", "Pura Vida", "Sushi" and of course "Riff" and "Grashopper" :toothless |

I think "Riff" is by far his best track up to date and "Back By Any Demand" def deserves a mention
Although I believe you guys are taking this outrospective thing way to seriously...who gives a really? Its obvious hes not a selfish jerkoff in his interview so why would we all assume that he meant for everyone to off now that they have heard his stuff...it almost seems as though you took the bouncers words personally lol... |
