Max Graham is back

well I didn’t know that Max Graham was registered on this board or even read here, but apparently he read a post of mine and was somewhat inspired :) Max Graham has been one of my favorite producers for a while now, from his older classics such as Airtight to newer tracks like Does She Know Yet & Automatic Weapon. When I first heard his tracks my ears easily picked up on how Max’s sound stood out; the quality and uniqueness was hard to miss, those haunting chords, chugging basslines etc made his music memorable, both kickass and melodic.
dangerous music to drive to as well.
However, in the past year or two I felt that Max’s tracks were lacking and the obvious change in direction he chose wasn’t up to his usual caliber. At some point, he read my disappointed comments somewhere on this board and I received a pm about a week ago from Mr. Max man himself, which read:

i would have to agree with you... like what happened to what i used to make?

anyway its all coming back as i sat down and listened to some of my old stuff...

keep your eye on the new stuff and you'll hear the melody and strings are back.

sometimes it just takes a little post likes yours to wake me up

And yes, the Max man is back indeed. If you’re a fan of his you could judge for yourself at http://www.maxgraham.com/licensing/
There’s a string of freshly produced and as yet unreleased newbies that I was more than happy to see-one listen to that Roland Klinkenberg remix or the Purple Code remix, or Max’s original Carbine, and I felt happy that Max has decided to go back to that kickass style again and stay away from the electro bandwagon that should by now be rolled off a hill for good.
I’m glad he takes into serious consideration the words of fans such as myself who truly appreciate his trademark sound. also proud to know that my words had some part in influencing the man to go back to using that golden touch again! :toocool: welcome back, Max!
