I rarely wish death upon anyone, but whoever is responsible for that deserves to be shot. |

| Great news! Maybe someday Tiesto and other EDM producers will soon wipe out all of the Top 40 and mainstream pop artists!! |

I don't think anyone wants to listen to a 4x4 beat every single place they go, including the car radio.
Not only would it get annoying but you'd probably get sick of EDM. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM.
Just my .02 :p |

| True. I guess you really can't grind in a club dancing to a 4X4 beat at 136 BPM's! I mean, that's what top 40 music is all about right? |

| Meh, if Soulja Boy Tell'Em is anywhere on that list, that should say something about how pointless the Grammys are. |

| It really amazes me that people in this thread have questioned who it was who made the decision(s) for the nominations. It's a pop music award show, so the only EDM you'll see will be pop EDM. I wouldn't expect anyone but the artists listed to be on it. Get over it. |

that's not true
they have special categories for pop and traditional pop
See "Field 1 - Pop", "Field 3 - Traditional Pop"
as opposed to "Field 2 - Dance"
i mean they have categories for "Best Zydeco Or Cajun Music Album", so I would hardly call it pop awards.
the basic thing is, they should make a pop dance category and separate it from an Indie dance category. |
