To me whos big in Montreal is not important. We have good producers and Djs living here that play everywhere except here! (Kinda sad IMO) My taste is not welcomed by most people here . Doesn't matter to each his own :D . When I say a DJ is big though it most probably means in Europe and for sure not in America. |

I admit I don't know much about him as a DJ (never really heard any sets) but an interesting booking...
producing wise he's great, awesome techno
Allied is right, theres a difference between producing/DJ..nevertheless i would go check him out or a new person because of his genre
although with an exam the day after and an exam on sunday, this is a big write off.....why couldn't be during the holidays |

True but usually when they produce good music it means they will play good music. :D |
Not from what I'm hearing from some of the big name producers these days.
Lazy mixing, recycled track lists... I understand it's a good way to promote your own but inundating your mixes with your own prods is getting old, fast.
Same applies for some of my favorite DJs these days too, it's beyond me that these guys have access to some of the best out there and yet they play the most boring ones of the lot, :(
Someone needs to find all of Sasha's copies of "Two of us" and "Love it" and destroy them, and make sure to erase them off his Mac(s). |

it was off the hook, he's a very down to earth guy and he played an awesome set full of songs i've never heard before. his sound is not specific to one genre but i'd say a lot of the tracks he played were tech-house, with a pinch of minimal and a couple songs were just straight techno. then he even danced a bit on the dancefloor when he was finished his set haha. |

Yes, his live set was awesome. He even played my favorite, "Nordbanhof". A big part of his tracks have yet to be released, which explains why it sounded so new.
I think that Paul liked his time here a lot, regardless of the small crowd the event gathered, and he told me he'd be back in North America before July for sure. |
