This forum rules man.
I must say that Dj Jean SUX really HARD!!And the scratching skillz of him isnt that good either.Maybe he can learn some from Dave "The Scratchmaster" Clarke.Man does Dave rulez or what.Damn what a skillz.But back to Jean.....
He always s up his sets but you cant deny that he almost everytime plays some ing great tunes.So the sets seems not that bad because of the track choices of him.Just like last Trance Energy (I was there).Just like Snuggle said..Why in heavens sake did he began to RAP???????
That didnt make any sense man.Where not on a ing R&B party.If I wanna hear rap ill go to Rapparty's instead of Trance party's.

yeah ... i can totally agree with ya .... his "the launch" was so awfull song .... i didn't believe my eyes (ehh - my ears) - i had to spend several hours in my "WC" :-)

| Well I like his songs.... maybe because they are produced by the Klubbheads... I have only 2 good sets from DJ Jean: Live At Club «O» - [22-04-2000] and Live At Amnesia - [07-07-2000]. Those two are really good! But for all the others... they suck.... It's a fact that all the other sets were done for radio or at big events... So with lots of people watching/listening him.. I think Jean gets horny when he know there are so many people watching/listening him he forgets to mix or something... |

| I was trying not to be too arrogant towards Jean in my posts but to be honest I think he is and old, fat, bastard and dare I say I hate him more than Judge Jules, and that IS saying something! "Love Come Home" = what a joke! Easily one of the worst dance records of last year! |

I'm glad to see so much hate against DJ Jean here! My personal opinion? He's a prick. His songs are TY, (I have always HATED "The Launch") his mixing sucks ass, and i HATE, HATE, HATE his scratching (all the time!)!!
I saw him play at Hyperstate 2000, and i was really disappointed that he got to play last, and not Ferry Corsten, for example. It WAS a good party until Jean started... and maybe except Sonique's set... She was crap) But did he really play the exact same ty set on the next big party? I didn't think it was possible to be that stupid.
I agree that we should keep this thread alive, y'know, someone should send the whole damn thing to Jean himself... |
