| So glad I came out for this one, as I had a blast. Great seeing so many heads out to see Tyas cubed... Was back and forth for most of the night, upstairs was jumping all night, thought I might have a seizure at one point with that massive strobelight. Thought it was pretty funny that everyone pulled out glowsticks in unison. Stocks in glowsticks must've soared on Friday. Downstairs was a nice change of pace with the People people... Luzz, Uncle, Dapper always a great time. Mike, great job with running the party. |

what can i say but many thanx to you all! a party is measured by its suppoters, you guys make these events the success they end up to be.
helps to have amazing talent and personalities playing these events that really connect with the crowd.
ryan, tom, sean and simon(aka brownie mixer) wow!!! thanx guys so much for a truly unforgettable night of music.
big thanx to Eco and the People NYC crew, you had that bassment rocking all night!
thank you all again for making this a fun night!
see you all the 29th for KVA and Ronski!
p.s. many past complaints about the venue and staff seemed to have been done away with. the staff was great! the staff also was impressed with an extremely well behaved crowd, they thanked you all for that and want to know when the next time we throw a party there, so also big thanx to shelter and you all for being a class act! |

No worries Bro..It wasn't that bad actually looking back with hindsight..The music was on point and the little Jew done a great job so I'm happy..
Gonna start a campaign to end the use of glowsticks though,, whether it was an accident or not,,the dude nearly took my eye out.. |

alright here's mine, a little late:
I'll start with the negatives of the night for me. First and foremost I HATE Shelter. Everything about the place just rubs me the wrong way, it did not have the nice warm feel that Sean's parties have had in the past, the room just wasn't feeling right to me which brings me to my next thing...GLOW STICKS....now coming from me this is pretty bad since we all know and love Jay with his sticks but seriously there was not enough room to have 3 freakin sticking circles. I love strings but in that venue NO WAY!!! that needs to be done outside with a lot of room, not to mention the orange ones totally ed with me and made the room to bright. Its pretty bad when you are tripping over more glow sticks then beer bottles. Finally I just wasn't blown away by Sean, idk I think i may have built it up to much in my head, I would get his a set an 8 / 10 for the night.
As for the good things, well everything else. Loves Simon and Tom's sets and everyone downstairs was ridc. I found myself down there more then anything. Got a good chuckle out of the matching outfits that boys had on, Sean what were you doing to us, walking around in a Yankees jersey with 69 on the back, trying to drive the girls crazy??? :p :D ;)
Overall I had a great time at the party and I am glad I made it out for this event. I love the way Sean brings out everyone, house heads, trance lovers and brings them together.
Some highlights of the night:
Seeing Dirty Dave...'ngh said
Seeing just about every guy in the place trying to jump into the DJ booth and rape the hell out of Sean (get that kid some security)
BWHAHAHA and having this guy come up to me and Kel and ask about Jay and if he was single and Kelly letting him know that I am is girlfriend. LOL he was crushed that Jay wasn't interested.

| Has anybody seen the tall black girl that goes to Love with the Afro that looks exactly like Jay from behind??..I think it was at Saunderson and Jay told me he weren't coming but I thought He showed up at the last minute...Anyway,,I threw my arms around this girl thinking it was Jay and she screamed a little..I was like "sorry love,, you look a guy I know"..I dunno what the most embarrassing thing was,,grabbing her in the first place or accusing her of looking like a dude.... |
