Going to South Beach next weekend, tell me what to do!!!

So I don't know anything about Miami beach or the fun places to go. I'm staying at the Hotel at South Beach. Looks like there are some parties going on:
12/14/07: Richie Hawtin @ Pawn Shop, Miami
12/14/07: Jonathon Peters @ Nocturnal, Miami
12/15/07: Chus & Ceballos (Main room & terrace sets) @ Space, Miami
12/15/07: Cedric Gervais (terrace afterhours) @ Space, Miami
12/15/07: Mark Farina @ Shine, Miami Beach
12/15/07: Benny Benassi @ Mansion, Miami Beach
Is it worth going into Miami for any of these or should I just stick to southbeach? Any other places I should check out? What about during the day, do any fun things happen during the day at this time of year? Help a noob out, thx bros & brolettes! |

| my suggestion is definitely richie hawtin at pawn shop....jonathan peters at nocturnal after hawtin ends...absolutely kills it when hes at nocturnal...and then chus and ceballos at space...that would be my lineup personally |

| Is it hard to get into Miami from Southbeach if you dont have a car? Are there a lot of taxis? How is Miami, ghetto at all? |

| the cab ride from south beach to downtown miami where space, pawn shop and nocturnal are is right around $15 each way...not to expensive at all...downtown miami is ghetto but its not bad at all where the cabs drop u off...ive walked around down there goin club to club and its fine..space and nocturnal are right next door to each other anyways..and there will be people all over for those events |

| Fake are everywhere, you won't have to look hard. Go to Space, just do it. Stay for the terrace in the sun. |

id say richie at pawn shop then space for afterhours is probably your best bet.
and take a cab. its the easiest and not too expensive way to get around. |
