| What's Mayday REALLY about? I mean the REAL holiday that takes place every year on the 1st of May, NOT the party. Why doesn't USA celebrate it? I heard that a lot of countries celebrate it but, USA doesn't... |

May 01 is the International Workers Day
People in the US don't celebrate it because of the protests that took place in Chicago on May 01, 1886 in which the workers were on strike demanding eight-hour work days. The police attacked the striking workers, killing six of them. During the cold war it had a reputation of being a "Communist" holiday |

I dunno about you guys but I'm off to watching some rioting and looting, a free for all battle on the streets of London Great stuff, right now their outside the US Embassy in Grovener Square wicked stuff. |
