Downloading mixes, save target as..

I know sometimes when trying to download mixes (or anything else for that matter) you sometimes run into trouble where the browser loads the file (in QuickTime for instance) rather than saving it to disk.

I just created a simple site that you can type or paste any URL into and it simply displays a clickable link to the file below. From there it's simple to just right click and save the file to your drive.

Thought this might be of good use for the community...

this actually isn't a terrible idea. I doubt how much it will really be used, but it's still a decent idea.

wrong forum, but nonetheless about 4-5 years ago some other TA had basically the exact same thing, but i lost the url when my last computer died
