What do people think about this tt and mixer package?

Hey im considering buying this but remember that this is my first set of turtables.
2 Numark tt-1520 and a Gemini pmx-100 mixer
Please give me your opinions, what should i change which part is better??? What do people know about this equipment? |

| if you are getting numarks, i wouldnt get anything less then the PRO TT2's. are you getting one of those package deals? or just buying them? and how much? |

It is a package deal, and im not getting them yet, I am just contemplating whether to or not.
I heard a lot of people flame package deals, what do you guys think? |

You're wrong.
I have Numark TT-1520 and they're surprisingly good.
The torque is not as powerful as in Tech-1200's, of course, but for the money these TT's do the job pretty well, especially for the novice. |

Numarks suck, especially those 1520 s. If you don't want to spend too much money on equipment, get stanton's or gemini's, but not numarks! Numark makes ty equipment. |

.. and what evidence do you have to back that up?
Like I said, I have Numarks TT-1520 at home, and they're pretty good for the money. Yes, they're on the lower end of the spectrum, but they're pretty sufficient for mixing Trance.
Wait till I post my first mix, done on these tables, in a few weeks, then you'll talk :rolleyes: |

| once again, correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the 1520's belt driven? and haven't we all been told at one point or another to go for direct drive decks..._always_? |

They are NOT belt-driven, they are direct-driven!!! |
