Ryan played a niiiiiiiice slower warmup set w/ some tribal sounds.
gypsy pirate was there.

I've been listening to EDM since 2002 and from the beginning I've made a checklist of every great DJ that I want to say in my time. Hernan has been on that list from day one and last night I finally got to see him for the first time. He absolutely killed it last night! His tracklist was pure and solid!
At around 12:30 the guy that had been standing next to me for about 20 minutes waited for a break to come to inform me that, "You know, he's really not that good and the music isn't what I expected." I looked at him and said "You're on drugs my friend!" He was so surprised that everybody was enjoying the great house music and he wasn't. Most likely a Newport douchebag that finds himself at Ten every Thursday trying to understand the music but can't. EVERYBODY was enjoying the music last night except that one GAEY!!
All said and done, Ryan Sage-master opened yet again with an excellent set in which I was groovin' big time...Hernan ripped it up and how bad I wish he was spinning at Vanguard on Sat. so I can hear that set on those speakers instead of Ten's. |

I was with Gerard at the left front corner right beside the bar, most of the time! I talked to Thrax and Josh a number of times even...I guess you and me were just focused on Hernan and the music and didnt really go looking around the crowd...hehe =) |
