Just because you dont like or understand why people produce, like or listen to minimal, it doesnt make it what you guys say.

DJ Dinz
This is what im looking for :P

yeah man.. I love Minimal
at first i thought minimal is a very easy thing to do..

But when i tried it and listen to other stuff like Richardo Villalobos, Hawtin, Coocoon stuff...

I think Minimal is a very crazy thing... the Bassline & stuff is like "you are talking to an alien in UFO things" *is just my imagination*

I find minimal beat and structure always trick and some kind of not dj friendly stuff...

am I right?

cheers! :D

+1. Nowadays trance is all about the perfect mix with every possible frequency being used but without getting muddy. Each sound is as clean and perfect as possible. In general trance producers get more technical than anyone else.

yeah sure trance is a lot about technical skills too. but minimal need nothing to no knownledge about music theory.. just watch some studio videos with steve angello & co. and you know that they just press some random keys and really fail by playing chords :P
music2dance2

minimal is harder to make than trance.

In minimal production you have to be clever, you can't just say "okay let's throw in some other gay riff on top of it to fill it up".

ok sterrilis, i'm a minimal producer, you're a trance producer. lets both produce a song of the oposite genre and see what comes out? then post it here for everyone to hear.
