Tomorrow Night from 10pm to midnight: We are very honored to announce that we will feature a brand new mix from our close friend Curly aka SVGmethod
then.....
Ill be wrapping up the night with some nasty ass tech beats

Curly began listening to house and trance music in 1996. The first event he ever attended was Coachella in 2002. Seeing his favorite djs in person changed his life forever.
He picked up djing in the summer of 2004 while still a student at UCSB. He went on to do a radio show at KCSB 91.9FM on the campus of UCSB from October of 2004 until December of 2006. The show was called (TECHNO)LOGICAL Radio, Your souce for the best in electronic dance music spun by live djs. The show featured live mixing from Curly and other local djs, as well as pre-recorded mixes from djs from all over the West Coast.
Past guests of the (TECHNO)LOGICAL Radio show included Marco Belli, Vittorio, Professor West, DJ Sparkle, Rob Bartlett, Jamar Hughes, Calvin & Hogg, DJ Kenosis, Bas, Ghosh (Colorado), Andy Alba, Mike Lord, DJ Michael Conway, and many more. Featured mixes came from Ghosh & Nitemer (Colorado), Milithor, Electrophile, Junior Chavez, Bas & Clovis, and Thee-o.
The exposure from the (TECHNO)LOGICAL Radio show ultimately landed Curly his first 2 gigs at the world famous Spundae, which was hosted then at Circus Disco in Los Angeles. In October of 2005, Curly was the opening DJ in the loft playing alongside Mike Lord, DJ Gil La, and Bob Motamedi. In the main room that night were the Sycophant Slags (Mr. C & Francis Harris). Curly was then invited back in April of 2005 to be the opening DJ in the loft playing alongside Brian Bartel, Jonathan Morning, and others. In the main room that night were DJ Rap & Max Graham.
Curly began playing out in the Santa Barbara clubs when he threw his first event in Santa Barbara in May of 2006 called ELEVATION. The event was held 2 times a month at Club Zelo from May-August in 2006 (under the Debut Events promotions banner, www.debut-events.com, with partner Melodie Tao), was held once at Omalleys as a one-off in September of 2006, then was held from October 2006 until April 2007 as a weekly at SBs newest nightclub called Couchez (under the Fix Promotions banner, www.myspace.com/fixpromotions). In March of 2007, Curly made his return to Circus Disco in LA to host the loft for a special one-time edition of ELEVATION.
The purpose of ELEVATION was to expose people to new sounds and for other new up & coming djs to get experience playing out in a club. Past special guests include Bas & Clovis, DJ Ducky, Calvin & Hogg, Max Cheddar, Junior Chavez, Thee-o, and many more. ELEVATION is taking a brief hiatus but will return with more events by the summer of 2007.
The (TECHNO)LOGICAL radio show and the successful weekly party ELEVATION caught the attention of sbtherapy, Santa Barbaras prominent house music promotion. Curly became resident in November of 2006, joining other residents DJ Winner, DJ Nagai, DJ Pat, DJ Vittorio, Calvin Riley, DJ Hogg, Oliver Twist, Nigel Richards, and Charles Feelgood. Curly has opened for the likes of DJ Spider, Justin Hoffman, Mark Lewis, Gene Farris, Jay-J, and Justin Martin.
Curlys style is heavily influenced by his favorite genres in electronic dance music such as deep house, funky house, tech house, minimal techno, electro house, progressive house, progressive trance, trance, and techno.
In April of 2007, Curly decided to create a podcast on itunes called the Savage Methods Podcast. The podcast features mixes from him and guest djs from all over the world.
