Turnmills ID

I'm 22 but am often asked for ID at clubs I go to. I don't have a driving license or clipped passport and am not really comfortable bringing my current passport up to London as I know I will lose it.

Wondering what Turnmills' or general club policy is on acceptable forms of ID, would a photocopied passport suffice?

that should be fine but why dont you get a provisional driving license they have your photo on aswell

I'm 29 soon and I have the same problem. It's totally and annoying. Most bouncers are arrogant dicks and won't accept anything except a passport or a driving license because they get off on ruining people's nights. They're a bunch of pratts.

My advice: take your passport just so you can hand it over calmly and leave the uneducated to do the sums.

hope i don't reach 29 and still need ID!

22 and counting

provisional driving licence is by far the easiest way to deal with ID checks.

not really when the licence of the venue is concerned as well as individual fines to bar staff and bar management not to mention possible prison sentences. if your 29 and getting ID'd your obviously some sort of hobbit so you would think you would of learned your lesson by now when it comes to bringing the correct form of ID.
