And they r ty bastads and the only way to contact them after your account is disabled is to e-mail them [email protected] - I mean its possible when I don't have the internet like :whip: I'm at skool now so please feel free to abuse BT as much as possible for me ;) Speak 2 u all l8r if I get the net agen at home (hopefully soon) |

The problem with that though is that once your 100 hours is up, they connect you permanenty automatically and start charging you for it.
So if you forget or don't notice, as soon as you go over your 100 hours, you're connected with them, and I think there's some catch where you owe them the first week's payment or summit.
I remember we went through all that with them ages ago.
When you ring up after about 90 hours saying "I don't like this, can you cut me off" they try to convince you otherwise. When you get insistent they get really pissed off and bitchy about it.
It's an OK idea if you monitor how many hours you've used and are prepared to shake them off over the phone after 90 hours of free internet, but be careful cos the crafty buggers will try and catch you out. |

How come you can't get cable? Are you several miles from your nearest telephone exchange thing like? I thought everywhere round here could get it :conf:
Apparently the closer you are to that, the faster your cable modem. We're about three quarters of a mile, which isn't bad. If you're 5 miles away though for example, they say it'll work out about the same speed as 56K, which isn't worth it. |
