santa is going to bring me one. i just have to pick it out. i'm a bit of a novice... my last mixer was utter though, so i am looking to move up a bit. i am looking to spin mostly prog, house, trance, electro, breaks. i really like the idea of the stanton's ability to connect to my ipod, just for the sake of ing around, would i be able to do that with any mixer?? however, the numark seems to have the most effects, but i'm also told vestax are really really good
anyways, these are three i have in mind for right now:
Vestax PMC-05PROIII DJ Mixer
Stanton RM.404 19" 4-Channel Rackmount DJ Mixer
Numark DXM09 Digital DJ Mixer
id really appreciate some advice if u know anything about any of these mixers |

| What's your price range? If you can spend more, go for a Pioneer DJM- 700. Had a go on one last weekend. Effects plus quality sounds like what you want. |

4 channels could be used for example for 2 turntables and 2 cd decks. A mic doesn't need one of those channels, it has it's on place on a mixer.
I have a Numark DXM06 which is in your price range and it's a good 2ch mixer for a beginner. |

| I've also got a DXM06, and can't fault it, and its lasted pretty well too, considering the hammer the faders get. |
