having not seen this movie yet, i will hold out on the critique, but that scene was meh.

of course that's only in comparison to this scene from the movie OLDBOY

SCENE

a true korean classic and film masterpiece in it's own right.
rumors are that Hollywood is remaking this film, but what else can you expect from Hollywood. I guess they can give it Scorsese so he can butcher another Asian classic and win an Oscar while doing it. The Departed no where near as good as Infernal Affairs, the original from Hong Kong. The only saving grace in the Departed was Jack Nicholson who held his own.

you could always just go to the Alamo Drafthouse if there is one near you. it's dinner/drinks/movie. pretty cool and not too horribly priced.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hollywood recreates IF 2 and 3. It's all about trilogies nowadays. Tony Leung: "A plus plus"
