Online Mastering Services

I've done a search for this and have found mostly people bickering about whether or not it's worth it to have a track professionally mastered. I've already decided that I want to, thanks.

What online mastering services are there? Please suggest and, preferably, give your experience with them.

I'm going to say this once: DON'T POST HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A MASTERING HOUSE TO SUGGEST OR A COMMENT ABOUT ONE.

I'll start. I know of three online mastering services: http://www.online-mastering.com, http://www.vengeance-mastering.com, and http://www.masteringcafe.com/. I have used Online-Mastering.com in the past for mastering to vinyl.

Overall, it only sounded a little different from my master. But it was better, nonetheless. It was worth the $100 USD to have someone else give my track a thorough listen and master (I assume they spent at least an hour on it).

They're the only mastering engineers I use and I've always been VERY happy with my masters. They're competitively cheap and have an awesome turn around time. Definitely worth checking out, at least, even if you've already decided on a mastering house.

A regular mastering job shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. That's what a friend of mine working at a mastering studio told me.

Did most of the armada and spinnin' records catalog to call a few. Tons of compilation cd's as well. Very huge variety in their catalog. Good stuff :).

these guys are quick, inexpensive and good to deal with. every track i have got done by them has been supported by much better lists of dj's than without.

they do everything via ftp. and send you a full 320k sample (with nasty beeps to stop you using it commercially). when you pay, they send you a wav in the bitrate you want.

i have never asked for something to be changed, but i understand they will adjust things if you are unhappy.

Thanks for the great responses, guys.

This one is particularly interesting as they specialize in the genre I'm aiming for. I'll post an update post mastering.
