high-larious.. I'm suprised the Burger King went along with it. Surely they lost some customers that didn't know it was a joke.. or had no sense of humour.

actually, i'm pretty sure this was a fully-funded/initiated stint BY burger king.

at first it's funny, then you realize it's a blatant marketing campaign, and it ends up smelling pretty damn foul and contrived.

nice try though.

This is the new form of advertising. Is this viral marketing? I don't even know, it is such a buzz word.

It was pretty funny. If I went into Lala downtown and could not get a kafta kabob, I would lose it.
mr. poopyhead
it's so faked... just a big ad.
chinamon
yeah they had commercials for that all over dishnetwork. it was annoying. i think i need a whopper combo tonight around 2am.

I'm sure as soon as they left the store they got tons of free coupons and stuff and told them.

I'm sure they had to get consent from them to use them in their video.

ok those of u that think this is all an act for the marketing campaign should know a few things

this is the latest buzz in the ad industry

it was made by the agency- Crispin, Porter & Bogusky

it has made so much hype cos all the interviews and videotaping IS infact real and has been confirmed...

the customers that are filmed were obviously told that it was a lie cos they had to sign consent forms to let them use their faces in the campaign (dunno if u noticed others were blurred out)

not ALL the customers ordered the whopper

and last but not least, not ALL the customers got hysterical over the loss of the whopper and were hennce not shown
