I wonder how many ppl have drivin drunk and gotten pulled over and got away with it. i know a few of my friends were soooo lucky... one time my buddy was goin 90 in a 50 up north and w0men cop pulled us over, he blantly admitted being drunk to the cop..she was like drive straight home and be carefull -then she had another call to attend to. That could make for a interesting poll!

Intoxicated and over the legal limit are two different things... you have the alcohol tolerance of a 5 year old girl (so do I, I guess that's what you get when you don't drink).
Something's still wrong. There's no way a person can drink that much in an hour, and not be considered drunk by the law.

It happened to me before, I only ended up getting a speeding ticket, the cops didn’t bother checking if I’m sober or not. Now days I wont drink and drive anymore. I learned my lesson by crashing a moped in Cuba when I was 19. Its too irresponsible, id rather not go out at all then drink and drive, or ill be sober at the party. Smoking a spliff and driving is a totally different story.
Here is an interesting British television experiment about smoking marijuana and driving, take it for what it is.
nubsauce
driving drunk is just dumb

I dunno about that. To me, smoking a joint and driving is similar to drinking a bit and driving. You do get more paranoid, which may "enhance" your ability to drive, but at the same time, I noticed that I do up when I drive while I'm high. Not major ups, but I'll forget to check this or that, won't observe properly, etc. So I wouldn't say it's a different story. I cannot honestly say that I'm as good driving high on weed as I am sober.

I've seen it before. So I don't know what your point is.

^ it was only one guy driving under the influence... that video doest prove anything
I do also make some mistakes when I drive after smoking, trying to cut that down specially when out at nights like this.

It says in the question.
For those that are still unsure, drinking more than 1 beer bottle, or 1 glass of wine, or 1 shot of 40% alcohol would send you over the legal limit.
funny, i just heard on the radio that "a 200lb man could drink 6 beers in two hours and likely be bellow the legal limit."

It depends on how much and how often you smoke. An every-day stoner will generally be capable of driving no matter how much they smoke, whereas a weekend-warrior should probably be leaving their keys at home.
It's the same thing with the impairment of alcohol. Some people can be over the legal limit and feel (and in my opinion, be) perfectly fine to drive. On the other hand, someone who only drinks for special occasions may feel too tipsy to drive safely after just one drink, when their BAC might only be .02/.04. Yeah, it's legal, but they shouldn't be driving.
