I thought this was going to be a new mix made from old school traxx...but it sounds like it was actually recorded back then. Not that that's a bad thing, just thought it was done recently. :p
I have some pretty sick tape recordings :wtf: from back in the day off of stations like CIUT CKLN CHRY when Community College Radio used to be the only source for underground sounds in this city....for the most part. I"ll see if I can record it to MP3 and I'll upload some very sick sets (88-96). |

Ahh yeah.... The Masterplan show, and the PowerMove show. haha... Both were great, but I always liked the Masterplan show the more. When hip-hop was good and the Hit Squad ran things! |

Masterplan was wikkid with Dj Power and crew every Fri. night I remember tuning in before heading out to a jam. I have mix tapes from Power that I should copy. But The PowerMove with Dj X. was the every Sat. afternoon. I recorded tons of shows from the radio back then. I remember when it was called Fantastic Voyage with Ron Nelson. I used to do an internship at Ron's Apache Studio when I was in OAC out there by Vic Park. :p..but it only lasted a week. It was just to far for a west ender like me to pull a mission like that.:sadgreen: |
