:o religion, imo, is stupid...
i don't understand how mankind depends so much on religion.
It's more freeing for me not to worship anyone or care about something almighty that i have no proof of.
:mad: i got really angry when i saw a girl get KILLED because of liking someone of another religion.
i might go straight to hell but yet again, how do i know there is one?
:wtf: i just wanted to share my thoughts and see if there is anyone out there that thinks somewhat similar...

While yes I think somewhat similarly, I totally understand why people want, need, or have religion.
I was raised without religion, I do not feel it is needed nor do I feel there is something missing in my life. My morals and values come from a conscious determination of what I feel is just, right, and fair.
Religion has driven people to do some really terrible things, even driven a people to war many, many times. But it has also done an incredible amount of good within communities, and given people hope where they might not otherwise have it. |
