Cheers Kit,

if you listened to the version that was up today, that wasn't meant to be heard :P I figured people had stopped reading this thread, and the version of the mp3 that was linked to was an old one (and i agree- one that was quite badly mixed down :D)

I've nearly finished the track now, its been slooooow (i'm supposed to be revising... ugh) but just a bit of tweaking of the mix etc before its ready to send out i reckon. I've just uploaded my latest render if you're interested.

Thanks for the comments,
Alex

It sounds much cleaner now, the elements are all more clearly defined. Good luck with it :)

Most people get their inspiration form Paul van dyk, Tiesto, Armin...Etc But your music has been really inspiring. I think i have spent about an hour listening to your music on Myspace. Anyways, thank you for your lovely music. <3Placebo effect<3

I have to agree alex

i listened to your stuff on myspace when you commented on my track and i loved it, great sound.

I would love to know what sounds your using in your tracks, and how many layers your using to get that kind of sound (ie arp, pad, kick drum)

Hi
im new to the forum absolutely love trance. i attempt to make tracks on my mac but they sound worse than an an 8bit gameboy melody!

this tune you posted alex is unbelievable. i wouldnt know where to start to make a tune this good, well done!

yep very nice production
I feel love comming from it
So it sends out a great atmosphere

I dont hear much panning anymore
But here a lil warning for panning effects
You make music made for the dancefloor
So look out with too much effects
Since i preformed a couple of times i found that
Not all systems on parties are setup the right way
It happened to me more than once that the speakers were conected wrong
So my song sounded pretty bad there
Nowadays i mostly put in MONO basedrums for that reason
Simply because you loose so much power if the speakers are conected as mono

Off course effects are great for on cd productions
But if your smart then you also make one mix with a mono kick
And not too much effects
Especialy when you want to play it on parties

I'd send it to Armada or Ajunabeats
This track would be up their sleeve imho
Good luck with your productions Passie

I like it. =) From reading other comments, sounds like it's got enough panning to me. Good work!!!!!!

Wow guys,

I have to say that i was really not expecting such a great response from all of you, so i have to say a big heartfelt "thank you" to you all!

As for the track, I've been approached by a couple of labels, and so I think i've pretty much got the track finished (though i think ive said that on every post? - its true though, my tracks are very rarely "finished" cause i just keep tweaking them non stop :P). I will upload a new sample in the next couple of days (back to uni tomorrow so computer is packed atm) but again, just wanted to say thanks!

Nice stuff, Alex! I've been listening to this over and over for the past half hour or so. A label would have to be nuts not to pick it up. Good luck and keep up the fine work!
