hell, I consider it borderline criminal whenever a kid gets the short end of the stick because the 'parents' are ed up and can't take care of their kids, and most teeners aren't fit, or mature enough to take care of kids

i don't think u quite understand what i'm saying here...first of all i never said teenage pregnancy in general wasn't a big deal...this case in particular isn't a big deal and it shouldn't be because what difference does it make in our lives...like really...the only reason you're discussing it is because she's known and it's Britney's sister

I would be just as outraged if it was an average teener. You're quite right that because it's britney's sis, this issue got attention

As for what difference does it make it our lives... well, once we ceased to give a damn about all the crap that goes in the world, humanity is doomed

hahaha right i'm sure if it was an average teenager there would be a whole thread on it and ummm...i really doubt that humanity is doomed because some of us ignore britney's teenage sister's pregnancy lol...im quite positive there's a lot more important issues going on in the world at the moment other than celebrity drama ...like wtf :wtf: lol

you're right. if something happens to celebrity, then there is attention on the issue. but it's the issue I give a rat's ass about, not the celebrity

doesn't matter if it's an avg person or a celebrity.

there is totally some clear misunderstanding going on this thread

You can only parent so far. At the age of 16, you are more than old enough to realize the consequences of having sex. Parents are there to teach, nurture and guide, but not to live your life for you.

If you are the least bit coherent, you can figure out the equation:
egg + sperm = baby

I was told at the age of ten, and was able to understand. 'that thing between your legs is a penis, its for sex, and sex leads to babies".

Yes, it IS a big deal, enough that it got the attention of everyone who posted in this thread for starters and then some;)

Imagine Christmas dinner at Chez Spears? :p Essentially, she came from a relatively dysfunctional home.. parents (and kids) sometimes gotta pay the consequences even moreso if the folk(s) don't set an example and make guidelines, show some love, etc.

Rumour has it, her boyfriend is the father. I breathed a sigh of relief when I found out it wasn't K-Fed :clown:
