I am being serious.

They are are all tremendously overrated regurgitations of a bull pop culture. None of them were actually exceedingly talented at what they did - that is, excessive drug use and the advantage of an overindulgent lifestyle funded by nothing more than their own popularity - and are instead worshiped as icons for music that's really not that great in the first place.

How was Hendrix not a talented guitarist?

I agree that the talent of the other two is highly debatable, but I don't see how you can argue that Hendrix had little talent...

:wtf:

Dude, I'm with you on Morrison (over-rated as all hell in my opinion)... but Lennon a regurgitation of pop culture??? You need to give Abbey Road or Revolver another listen.

Then maybe he was all talent and no skill. if I know. I just know that's he's pretty much to blame for all of the stupid ing use of the stupid ing instrument in stupid ing music anymore.

Guitars are not the ether of good music. Please stop jerking off all over them.

I agree with your conclusion but not with your premise. That's like saying Marx should be blamed for all the stupid Stalin did, or that Monet should be blamed for the popularity of Impressionist calendars.

Yeah, but millions of corn-fed teenagers don't wear shirts, have bumper stickers, wear pins and hats and whatever the else with Monet or Marx on them. :wtf:

There are many, many, many talented musicians in the world. Billions more people now and 50 more years of musical development as well as the excessive accessibility of music instruments, and people still ing idolize the "talented" dead. Give me a ing break.

It's not so much for their talent... but they were trailblazers. And the path they trailbloze was deviated upon by thousands of stupid kids, yes, but that doesn't detract from the purity of the original thing. When the Beatles hit their stride with Abbey Road, The White Album, Revolver, and Sgt. Pepper's... they were unbelievable, and there have been very little in the rock world that has surpassed that since.

That's not true.

Maybe if a million ing fans would unroll that Beatles dick right the out of their mouths and look around, they might realize there is plenty of good music being made out there. The same goes for Pink Floyd fans. Zepplin. Jesus, classic rock.

Oh, and none of it was really all that wonderful in the first place, it just got lots of radio-play. lolapkdolldqlwpkr'
