You should get two MK31200's and a 2 channel mixer (pioneer) and learn on vinyl FIRST! Learn the roots and then move forward. Thats my personal recommendation. I think new DJ's should learn the feel of vinyl before going digital.

Sounds good, but what if vinyl is not the choice of media the music is made on. AKA, psytrance is pretty much only made on CD.
Anyone play around with the CDJ400's yet? THinking of buying a pair soon.

great idea...
that is if you have about $1000 to waste on technics and another 2-3k to waste on vinyl for a year or two.

Or you can just skip that step and get a pair of cdj 1000's and a mixer and start downloading mp3's for about $1.50
